The Box: With Love From Angela
The Price: $24.99 (Use code NEWCUSTY1 for a free gift in your first box!)
The Goods: 4-5 all natural bath and skincare products
January was With Love From Angela's first box ever and they kindly sent one to me for review.
Herbaria Caracalla Bath Bomb - Bath Balm: ($4.95) This scent has menthol and eucalyptus and is supposed to be wonderful for colds. My allergies have been acting up lately so hopefully this will help with that too.
Loofah Sponge: I personally don't use sponges in the shower, so I'll see if J will use this. Otherwise, it might become an art/craft supply.
Herbaria Bar Soap - French Lavender: ($5.95) I could smell this before I even opened my WLFA box. I'm a big fan of Lavender (especially at night) so I love this.
With Love From Angela Lotion Bar: This is unscented, which is actually kind of nice since all of my other lotion products are scented and can overwhelm J at night. It isn't quite as melty as most solid lotions I've tried; it takes a bit more effort to apply but it isn't as messy.
Mungo Murphy's Sea-Bag: ($3.77) This was...odd. I was a little worried as I was boiling the bag before my bath. It had a slightly fish-foody scent but once I dumped it into my bath I couldn't smell it at all. Immediately after soaking, my skin sort of felt like it does after swimming in a creek. (Yeah, I'm country, y'all. Hush.) However, that feeling went away after a quick rinse in the shower and J even commented that my skin felt smoother.
Total Value: Over $14.67
For a first box, I think With Love From Angela has potential. I'd like to see the value increased a bit, but the curation and item selection was good. I'm excited about the lavender soap and the sea-bag was definitely an experience worth trying.
Disclaimer: This box was sent to me free of charge in exchange for a review. No further compensation was received and all opinions are honest and my own.
Interesting stuff in that box. Let us know how they work!
