Ipsy is the only subscription that I have that I allow myself to hunt spoilers for. Usually, spoilers make me even more excited for Ipsy, where as others (*coughcough*Popsugar) just make me needlessly nervous.
Ipsy is $10 a month and this month's theme is "Beach beauty." While the pink plastic makeup bag isn't my favorite, it makes sense with the theme and it is nice to have a bag you can see the contents through.
Coola Face SPF 20 Mineral Sunscreen: ($4.87) Coola is organic, cruelty-free, and the sample I got is unscented. I generally don't wear anything less than 30 SPF, but I still look forward to trying this. This stuff is fairly expensive, though, so I'm sure I'll love it.
BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow: (~$1) This is a sample of one eyeshadow from each of the California Collection palettes. I'm not usually one for warm colored cosmetics, but the Malibu is surprisingly soft and wearable.
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray: ($6.65) I lust after beachy, sexy waves. My hair always winds up looking dirty, messy and gross instead. I'm hoping this spray will help - but either way, it smells fantastic.
Pop Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon: ($4.16) I wanted so badly to love this. Unfortunately, Fuchsia Flirt is the absolute wrong color for my skin tone. It shows every flake or crack on my lips.
Nailtini Nail Lacquer: ($13) Nailtini is 3-free and doesn't test on animals. I do like this color, Mai Tai, but application was a little streaky at first and it didn't seem to wear as well as other comperable brands.
I'm a bit "meh" about this month. I got about $30 of product for $10 but none of it is anything I am SUPER excited about. I did go back and tweak my quiz, so maybe I'll love everything next month!
