The Box: Elizabeth and Clarke
The Cost: $30-$60 a season, depending on the number of shirts you choose
The Goods: 1-3 high quality tops that you choose from their seasonal collection.
Spring's options were the White, the Hutton and the Arden. The Liz Lemon and the Taylor are part of the "Forever Collection" so they're always available. I chose to go with only one top, the Arden, for $30.
The Arden: This was originally released in white in last summer's collection. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. The fabric isn't sheer, which is nice. It's a good basic.
It is longer in the back than the front. I have a bit of an issue with the fit though - it's snug through the hips bug looser around the top area. (You can kind of tell in this picture, but it's more noticeable in real life.) It's fine tucked in but looks a little wonky untucked.
I'll probably wear this as work attire, but the fit doesn't really make me want to wear it as casual wear. The summer collection is available now through May 1 on the E&C website. If you're interested in one of the tops from previous seasons, try shooting them an email because I've heard that they occasionally have left overs and might be able to accommodate your request!
