True&Co #1 Review

If you've ever shopped online for bras, you HAVE to try True and Co.  HAVE TO.
I learned about True&Co from Veronica Belmont. (I have a massive girlcrush on that woman.)  I'm not exaggerating much when I say that it's life-changing.

Here's how it works: You register and take a quiz on how your current favorite bra fits - no tape measure required, just a mirror at the most.  They take your results and generate a boutique of bra options in sizes right for you from a variety of brands including Calvin Klein, Blush, and Betsey Johnson.  You pick out your favorites, pay a (refundable) $45 deposit, and they ship them to you.  You then have an entire week to try them on with everything in your closet, criticize yourself in the mirror, get your significant other's opinions, whatever. Anything you want, you pay for (less the $45 deposit) and anything you don't, you ship back.  Easy peasy.

There is one thing that I did not like about using True&Co.  The package tracking was horrible.  This is what they offered in way of tracking.

Oh, it still said this even after it had been delivered.  This isn't tracking, guys, this is an "ehhhh we think it'll be there...at some point."  Usually that wouldn't bother me too much, but I don't check my mail every day and since the try on period starts as soon as it's delivered...it's pretty important to know when it's going to show up.

Once my package finally made its way here, I was giddy with excitement.  Since I didn't have a clue when I'd get it, I literally squealed when I found it in our mailbox. Yep.  J got a good laugh at me.

Here's a shot of all the lovely things I had selected:

The panties come flat in plastic wrapping so you can get an idea of the cut and size, but they're still hygienic to return if you so choose.
For your first order, you select 3 bras and then they choose 2 for you.  The three I chose were Private Affair ($45, left), Push Positive ($48, top center), and Long Long Ago ($55, top right).  I also chose the Private Affair thong ($18) because I'm a sucker for matching sets.  They picked Night No. 13 Strapless ($45, bottom center) and Calais ($68, bottom right).

I wound up keeping the Private Affair set and Push Positive.  Let me say, though, they all fit perfectly.  I never realized how confortable bras were meant to be.
Returning the others was super easy.  You go online and tell them which ones you're keeping (like StitchFix) and then print out a prepaid USPS label for the rest.  Slap that sucker on your box, top it off at the post office and you're done!  If you wind up not liking ANYTHING in your box, you'll be refunded the $45 deposit.

When I ordered, they also had a promo code to get a Best Lace Thong 3-Pack ($33) for free.  They're just as awesome as Hanky Panky, too.

True&Co also has sleepwear, lingerie and related accessories. Sign up using my link and you'll get a lace thong 3-pack of your own - for free in your first order!

Seriously though, this is the only way I'll ever shop for bras from now on.  Victoria can keep her secrets.
